Official Transcripts
As of October 1, 2025, the transcript fee is $10.
Brandeis University has partnered with National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) to allow current and former students to obtain both official electronic transcripts and official paper transcripts to be sent to themselves or a third party in a secure manner.

- Request an official transcript with your Brandeis Username login.
- Request an official transcript without a Brandeis username login.
Be Prepared
Before starting your transcript request, have the following ready:
- Your student ID or Social Security Number
- Valid email address or mailing address for the recipient
- Valid credit card
Basic Facts
- The fee for an electronic transcript is $10. This fee is payable directly to National Student Clearinghouse. Official paper transcripts have an additional shipping fee.
- Most transcript requests are processed within 24 hours of the request. Requests that include attachments or require additional review are processed within 2 business days.
- Do not attach your resume or transcripts from another school to your request. We will not send these attachments with your order.
- Transcript requests cannot be processed for those with transcript holds.
- You will need the following information available in order to request an official transcript:
- Your student ID or Social Security Number.
- For Electronic Orders: Email address for the transcript recipient. Please note that when sending a transcript to some colleges and universities who have a special agreement with National Student Clearinghouse, an email address may not be required. To be sure that the transcript will be sent to the correct recipient, contact the recipient organization to obtain a valid email address.
- For Print Orders: Mailing address for the recipient.
- A valid credit card.
- Official transcripts will include all careers.
Security Features for Electronic Transcripts
The recipient will receive the login and password needed to open the transcript in two separate emails. The login and password will always be required to open the transcript document. It is important that the user save the login and password information for future reference. If the login information is lost, recipients must contact National Student Clearinghouse directly to obtain the information.
