Why didn't I receive my diploma at Commencement?

If you did not receive your diploma at one of the diploma ceremonies at Commencement, then you most likely fall into one of the categories below.

1. You graduated in August or February and your diploma was already mailed to you.

2. You have a hold on your record, and your diploma cannot be released until you resolve the hold.

3. The Latin Honors printed on your diploma (Cum Laude, Magna Cum Laude, Summa Cum Laude) have changed, and your diploma needs to be reordered to reflect that change. Diploma reorders will be mailed directly to your degree address. It can take up to 6 weeks to receive your diploma by mail, and an email will be sent to your Brandeis email address when the diploma ships.

4. You did not attend the diploma ceremony where you asked us to hold your diploma. Diplomas not picked up at Commencement will be available for pick-up at the registrar's office during regular business hours, Kutz Hall, Room 121, on the day after Commencement. A photo id is required for diploma pick-up. Any diplomas not picked up will be mailed to the degree address listed in Sage.
