Graduate Degree Application Information
Graduate students who expect to qualify for an February 2021 degree must complete the Graduate Degree Application no later than October 30, 2020. Please see the link below.

Please note: Diplomas for May are given out at spring commencement. The diploma mailing address would be used if a May degree recipient was unable to attend commencement.
Please log into your Sage account and check your list of Address types.

If you currently have a degree address listed, check it carefully to see if this is the address to where you want your diploma mailed. If it is not, you must edit this address (click on "Edit" button) to ensure that your diploma will be mailed to the desired address. Be sure to save any changes you make.

If you do not have a degree address listed, then carefully check your permanent address. If your permanent address identifies the address to where you want your diploma mailed, then you are all set.
However, if the permanent address is not the address where you would like your diploma mailed, you can either add a "degree address type" or change your permanent address. Page down for instructions.

To Add a Degree Address:
- Click the "Add a New Address" button:
- Enter your address, and click the "OK" button.
- Under "Address Types," click the "Degree" checkbox and then click the "Save" button.

To Change Your Permanent Address:
- Click the "Edit" button on the line labeled "Permanent."

- Edit your address and click the "OK" button.
Please give careful consideration to how your name will appear on your diploma. Because a diploma may serve as an official document, it is strongly recommended that the name on your diploma matches your legal and/or passport name.
To begin, log into your Sage account and click on the "Names" button, under the "Personal Information" section.

This will reveal your "primary" name and any additional names you have on file, i.e., a "passport" or a "degree" name.

If You See a Degree Name Listed:
- Click the corresponding "Edit" button and check to ensure it reflects exactly how you want your name to appear on your diploma.

- If you are satisfied with how your name appears, simply click the "Save" button. If you wish to change the way your name will appear on your diploma, enter the appropriate information in the relevant field(s) and then click the "Save" button. This is the name that will appear on your diploma.

- After you successfully save your file, you will receive a "Save Confirmation" page.

If You Do Not See Your Degree Name Listed:
- Carefully check your primary name. If your primary name is listed exactly the way you want your name to appear on your diploma, then you are all set. This is the name that will appear on your diploma.

- If your primary name is not listed the way you'd like it to appear on your diploma, then you will need to add a "degree name" to your names list. Begin by clicking the "Add a New Name" button.

- Next, select "Degree" in the dropdown menu labeled "Name Type." Then enter your name in the appropriate fields and click the "Save" button.

- After you successfully save your file, you will receive a "Save Confirmation" page.
