Early Arrivals
The Early Arrival Request form is now available for returning students through their MyHousing Portal under "Applications and Forms" and will be available to edit or cancel until 12 noon EST on August 18, 2025.
Returning student move-in for Fall 2025 is scheduled for Sunday, August 24th - Tuesday, August 26th. Community Living recognizes that some students will need to arrive early for various reasons, and thus will allow returning students the opportunity to request early arrival. Please note that we do not allow first year students to arrive early. If you are currently on campus for the summer and have requested Transitional housing, please DO NOT fill out this form.
Early Arrival is only available from Monday, August 18th - Friday, August 22nd. Students requesting early arrival should be aware that there is a fee of $50 for each day that they have access to their room prior to August 24th. Students arriving early and living in corridor- and suite-style spaces will be assigned a meal plan for all associated dates and charged by Campus Card for their meal plan.
Students will immediately be eligible to select a move-in date and time through their MyHousing Portal and must do so by Monday, August 18th. We will not be able to accommodate check-ins outside the hours listed.
Students approved for Early Arrival also understand and agree to follow Rights and Responsibilities and any other on-campus policies put in place.
- Please note that we do not allow first-year students to arrive early.
- If you are currently on campus for the summer and have requested transitional housing, please DO NOT fill out the form.
- If you are arriving to campus as part of a group (i.e., Campus Center Team, Waltham Group, Athletics, etc.), please contact your supervisor for specific instructions.
- As a reminder, there should be no overnight guests on campus during the early arrival time frame. Early arrival is designated as any day prior to the official move-in date for your residence hall.
