The Early Arrival Request Form is now available for returning students through their MyHousing Portal under 'Applications' and will be available to edit or cancel through July 31, 2019 at 11:59PM EST.
Returning student move-in for Fall 2019 is scheduled for Tuesday, August 27, 2019. The Department of Community Living recognizes that some students will need to arrive early for various reasons, and thus will allow returning students the opportunity to request early arrival.
- Please note that we do not allow first year students to arrive early.
- If you are currently on campus for the summer and have requested Transitional housing, please DO NOT fill out this form.
This form is designed for returning students who need to arrive on campus early as part of an individual request. Students should fill out this form to ensure that DCL has their information on file and can accommodate and prepare for requests as needed. The earliest students can arrive on campus is Tuesday, August 20, 2019.
- If you are arriving to campus as part of a group (i.e., Campus Center Team, Waltham Group, Athletics, etc.), please contact your supervisor for specific instructions.
Students requesting early arrival permission should be aware that there is a fee of $40 for each night that they have access to their room prior to Tuesday, August 27, 2019. Completing this form does not guarantee the ability to arrive early to campus. The Department of Community Living has the right to deny requests.
