F-1 OPT and STEM OPT
Brandeis University routinely hires F-1 visa holders who are on an approved OPT and/or STEM OPT period. Please see more information on the USCIS website. As the STEM OPT employer, the supervisor and Office of Human Resources should complete Form I-983.
Brandeis expects employees eligible for F-1 OPT and STEM OPT to first maximize their time in F-1 status before becoming eligible for H-1B sponsorship.
