EB-3 PERM Labor Certification

In limited circumstances, Brandeis full-time staff and researchers may qualify for EB-3 based on the discretion of the ISSO and their manager.

EB-3 – Eligibility Criteria

At Brandeis University, you may be eligible for Employment-Based Immigration: EB-3, if you are in the category “Professionals”.

Professionals – The worker must show at least a U.S. baccalaureate or foreign equivalent degree and must be performing work for which qualified workers are not available in the U.S.

Fees Associated with EB-3, PERM Labor Certification (ETA-9089)

Please note that in most cases, the employee is responsible for all fees associated with the adjustment of status. In the case that the university covers such costs, the expense is treated as an employee benefit and the employee is taxed accordingly.
