Hiatt Career Center

The Hiatt Ecosystem

The chart shows the components that make up the Career Ecosystem. Described as dynamic partnerships with university stakeholders. Each of the components of the Hiatt Career Center, Employers, Community Partners, Brandeis Alumni, Faculty & Staff, and Students are listed.

The Hiatt Career Center continually works to integrate key stakeholders both on and off-campus into our career ecosystem, working with students, alumni, faculty, staff, community partners, and employers to create career and affinity hubs. Hubs help center resources and provide individualized career support to all.

This process involves overlapping partnerships to advance the mission of supporting Brandeis students and alumni to build lifelong skills during college and beyond.

Career Everywhere

Career happens everywhere across the Brandeis campus. Partnerships range from working directly with employers, academic departments, student groups, and organizations to fostering career education within the classroom in collaboration with faculty. All partners advance the mission of supporting Brandeis students to build lifelong skills during college and beyond.

Our Partners Say...

mary ballegeer"One of the best ways I've been able to feel connected to the Brandeis community even though my time on campus as a student has ended, is through partnering with the Hiatt Career Center. Whether it is working with students on mock interviews, sharing job postings or hosting events for recent alumni, there are many ways to give back to Brandeis through Hiatt."

— Mary Ballegeer ’08, MBA’16, planning analyst, Single Point Partners

Viennie Chanthachack"I've really appreciated working with Hiatt as an employer for their work connecting students to recruiters (and vice versa) in the traditional sense. However, what's been more remarkable this past year was the team's willingness to invest in unique events that better assist students in making connections between their experiences and the real world. This is an early part of the career search process that can be easily overlooked by students, but it's great to see how much the Hiatt team involves employers and industry professionals to facilitate this experience."

— Viennie Chanthachack, associate sales campus recruiter, HubSpot

sandra king"We have had a supportive and productive working relationship with the Hiatt Career Center since the inception of the CREST program several years ago. The management and coordination of our interactions with the students interested learning about and working in the commercial real estate industry have been efficient and expansive."

— Sandra T. King, senior program advisor, CREST (Commercial Real Estate Success Training)
