Career Team
Our career team meets with students and alumni for 30 or 60 minutes on topics ranging from exploring majors and career interests, reviewing application materials, internship and job searching, networking, interviewing, and graduate school or law school planning/applications.
While each staff member has their own areas of speciality, they can meet with any student or alum. Explore their bios below to find the best person to meet with by industry area or last name a lpha split (for first-year students). If you are working with Hiatt for the first time, set up a 30-minute appointment or call our front desk to find the best person to help you get started.
Hiatt also supports student groups with professional development, networking or skill-building activities. Connect with our staff to talk about your event needs (employer/alumni speakers, event planning and support, etc.) by scheduling an appointment in Handshake and selecting "Club Support." If you have a date and event already in mind, complete this request form with the details of your event. (We must have at least two weeks' notice prior to the event date.)

Sandra works with students and alumni unsure of next steps, or even how to begin. Sandra’s door is open to all, and in particular, first-generation college students and historically underrepresented identities. She frequently works with students interested in counseling, social services, education and non-profit fields. Sandra is Hiatt’s main point of contact for diversity initiatives.

Zach works with all students and alumni and particularly enjoys working with students in business/consulting/finance career paths or areas of media/advertising/marketing. He also enjoys running mock case interviews for consulting and finance.
Student Career Staff (Hiatt Advisors)
Hiatt advisors (HAs) meet with current students for 20-minute HA Express Appointments. These brief meetings are more focused on quick questions and resume or cover letter reviews. HAs also assist with campus-wide Hiatt programming, promote career development events and serve as liaisons between students and Hiatt.
