Profile

Because Lauren fancies herself a wordsmith, she enjoys helping students and alumni choose how to best express themselves in different aspects of applications, whether it's for internships, jobs, graduate or law school. When you meet with her, be ready for someone to tell you like it is that works with you to strengthen skills and empowers you to move forward from wherever you are.

Part of Lauren’s enthusiasm stems from her shared experience as a fellow Brandeisian. While practicing family law in Chicago, Illinois, Lauren spent a semester as an adjunct professor for legal research and writing at DePaul Law School. When she decided it was time to move back to the Boston area, Lauren seized the opportunity to return to campus, parlaying her law degree into a second career as a part of the Hiatt counseling team.

There's a really good chance you'll see Lauren outside of the office. You might encounter her as a Guberman Fellow for Introduction to Law or Business Law. She engages with clubs for career conversations and programming and has also been seen at sporting events, theatrical performances and art shows. Lauren serves as the staff advisor f. If you're pre-law, sign up for her listserv.

If you really want to see Lauren’s face light up, talk to her about curling, acapella or country music.
