Jon leads an award-winning staff of career professionals committed to working with undergraduate students and alumni inclusive of all identities, backgrounds and interests. He oversees day-to-day operations, career development, employer relations, alumni engagement and marketing.
Jon also works with all students to discover and explore their major and career interests and make career decisions. He helps Brandeisians know who they are, what they want, and how to get there so they can take action and get started! With experience working with students all across the country with diverse academic and career interests, he provides a personalized approach in helping to navigate next steps. In addition, Jon teaches the internship course INT 89a/b.
Jon holds an M.Ed. in counseling from DePaul University, concentrating in community mental health and college student development. He is also a certified career counselor (CCC), MBTI facilitator, and StrengthsQuest educator. Jon writes and teaches about career development theory, data analytics, and learning outcome assessments in career services with work published in peer-reviewed and national association journals.
Like many people, Jon took a winding path to get to his current position. His first seven jobs included:

- Camp Program Director (Cape Cod, MA)
- Career Counselor (Illinois, Florida, & Colorado)
- Career Service Director (Waltham, MA)
