Sheila is eager to work alongside students to explore career paths in healthcare and science research. She believes fostering curiosity and self-discovery is necessary to help students explore their interests and find their place in these vital fields.

Before joining Hiatt, Sheila worked on various research projects that focused on strengthening health systems, increasing accessibility to cardiac care, and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on education in resource-limited settings. With a passion for public health, Sheila is committed to leveraging data-driven insights to enhance healthcare access.

During her free time, Sheila loves to travel and explore new places. She also enjoys cooking and discovering new recipes to try.
