Profile

Xiaoyi is dedicated to assisting students in making decisions aligned with their career interests and aspirations. She has a passion for guiding students through self-exploration, skill acquisition, and the exploration of diverse opportunities. Coming from an international background and having worked extensively with students from diverse cultures, Xiaoyi empathizes with the challenges many students face and eagerly extends a helping hand.

Before joining Hiatt, Xiaoyi earned her master’s degree in applied human development from Boston University. During her time at BU, she interned at the BU Career Center and contributed as a graduate research assistant at Wheelock College's Center for Future Readiness, where she gained invaluable insights into student career pathways. Additionally, Xiaoyi has supported the career development of individuals from diverse backgrounds through an internship at a local nonprofit organization.

During her free time, Xiaoyi loves traveling, watching TV shows and movies, and watching/playing tennis. She also enjoys exploring new restaurants and trying new foods.

Xiaoyi seeks to empower every student to turn their passions into a career and works closely with Brandeis’ international student population. She supports the Technology & Innovation career hub and is also available to meet with first year students with last names starting with W - Z.
