Hiatt Internationally Recognized for Best Student Program
The Hiatt Career Center has clinched a GlobEY Award for Best Student Program at this year's Global Career Services Summit (GCSS) in Washington, D.C.
Sponsored by Ernst & Young (EY)—a multinational professional services partnership–the summit brings together more than 130 heads of career offices from approximately 16 countries, making it a premier event in higher education career services.
GCSS serves as a platform for career professionals worldwide to share insights, best practices, and innovative strategies in career development. Amidst the backdrop of a rapidly evolving job market, the summit provides a valuable opportunity for collaboration and exchange of ideas among industry leaders.
This year, Hiatt was recognized for supporting Brandeis undergraduates and improving career fair outcomes by revolutionizing the entire student experience. Through in-person and virtual fair formats with a focus on equity, inclusion, and comprehensive support pre-, during, and post-fair, Hiatt has achieved remarkable results.
Not only has Hiatt significantly decreased no-show rates and increased attendance, but we’ve also improved student engagement and employer satisfaction. Most importantly for GCSS, this new career fair model emphasizes replicability, making it suitable for implementation across various university settings around the globe.
The Best Student Program award underscores our staff’s commitment to empowering students and fostering their professional development. It serves as a testament to our efforts to provide innovative approaches and comprehensive support to students navigating varying career paths.
Winning the GlobEY Award brings global recognition and affirms the teams dedication to excellence in career services. As the job market evolves, Hiatt remains committed to empowering students to succeed and contribute meaningfully to their chosen fields.
