Profile

Megan works with everyone and anyone thinking about the next steps, career transitions or wondering how to get started. She is very familiar with the feelings of uncertainty that may come when you think about your future. She's tried on many different careers and jobs and knows how overwhelming it can be to figure out what might come next. She enjoys working with all people and has a special affinity for those who identify as first-generation, low-income, LGBTQIA+ or those who anticipate challenges as they transition between jobs or into a job.

Before joining Hiatt Career Center, Megan completed her master’s degree in higher education from Harvard University and was the graduate assistant in the Office of Academic Policy. She’s also managed scholarship programs and worked in retail management, as well as a college coach and as a paramedic.

In her free time, Megan loves to kayak, read, binge watch shows on Netflix and Hulu, and putz around the kitchen. She's constantly trying new crafts and is excited to have time to get back into stained glass. She is new to the Boston area and is thrilled to have a new city to explore.

Megan’s first seven jobs included:

  • Babysitter
  • Caterer
  • Chocolate shop assistant
  • Server
