Profile
Michelle supervises Hiatt Career Center’s marketing, communications, and social media, enhancing the office’s visibility across Brandeis campus and beyond. Her mission — to produce messaging that sparks a connection with students, alumni, employers, parents, and faculty. Collaborating with career development, employer relations, and alumni engagement teams, Michelle feeds the flow of timely communication promoting Hiatt’s incredible staff and resources.
Her scope of responsibilities includes: launching marketing campaigns around Hiatt programs, opportunities and events; producing and distributing Hiatt communications across emails, websites, print materials, and social media platforms; adhering to university brand and accessibility guidelines; and utilizing analytics across platforms to target audiences. Additionally, Michelle supervises student staff, who add their own fresh perspectives to amplify Hiatt’s communications.
Prior to Brandeis, Michelle held marketing communications leadership roles at local nonprofits, including Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts and the Massachusetts Women’s History Center. Passionate about the missions of these organizations, she launched brand campaigns, planned major events, built relationships with volunteers and donors, and earned prominent media coverage. Michelle also served on the Planning Committee for the Boston International Women’s Day Breakfast. She holds a BS in Mass Communications from Boston University.
Michelle resides in Boston with her husband, two children, and dog Babs. When she’s not working, Michelle can be found leading her Girl Scout Troop, walking her dog, or, if she’s lucky, having cocktails with other adults.
