Acknowledgements

The existence of the Brandeis EM facility depends, in part, on proper acknowledgment in publications. This is an important metric of the value of facility and it helps it obtain financial and other support so that we may continue to provide essential services in the best ways possible. It also helps core personnel to advance in their careers, adding to the overall health of the core facility. Please inform the facility of any publication which includes data obtained at the facility. 

In all Publications resulting from the use of instruments and support staff within the Brandeis EM facility, the facility  should be acknowledged as a whole, e.g. "TEM samples were prepared and imaged at the Brandeis Electron Microscopy Facility". 

If a user had staff prepare or image their samples, please add that information to the statement, e.g. "The authors gratefully acknowledge the Brandeis Electron Microscopy Facility staff for their support and assistance". 

If the work was done on the Tundra Cryo TEM please include the following language: 
"This work made use of equipment purchased under National Science Foundation MRI Program Award # 2319804".

Assistance provided above the technical or routine level should be recognized through co-authorship. Please discuss authorship and and acknowledgement with staff prior to manuscript submission.
