Research Programs
The research programs listed below usually like to see that you already have some exposure to a lab setting. We recommend you apply to them during your sophomore year and junior year if you are interested in / thinking about applying to PhD or MD-PhD programs. Gaining research experience outside of Brandeis allows you to have an appreciation of the large research community, meet students and professors from other universities, research topics you wouldn't be able at Brandeis, and practice science communication skills.
