What advice do you have for new prehealth students?

Pre-health and Brandeis are experiences for which the amount of effort you put in is directly proportional to how rewarding the outcomes are. Grit, initiative, and tenacity are invaluable assets of future leaders, and being pre-health is to prove that you embody these traits.

In what ways did Brandeis support your path to medical school?

In both academic and professional regards, faculty want to see their students succeed, and I benefited greatly from tapping into this source of support. Additionally, Academic Services and Pre-Health Advising are incredible resources when taken advantage of - I truly would not have had the success that I had without the unflinching eagerness with which my advisors helped me on my academic paths.

What have been your involvements during your time at Brandeis?

  • Lovett Lab Student Researcher
  • Brandeis Pre-Med Society Event Coordinator
  • Undergraduate Department Representative, Biology Department
  • Office Assistant, Academic Services
  • Newton-Wellesley Hospital volunteer
  • Boston College University Wind Ensemble Clarinetist
