Registering for Classes

We know you have many questions about what you should do over the summer as you get ready to come to Brandeis. Below find some helpful hints on preparing for course registration.

Registration Activities

• Complete the online writing assessment.

• Get familiar with Workday Student (this is where you can find available courses and will actually register for them).
• Read "Advising & Course Registration:  A Guide for First Year Students" (visit our main site for new students for PDF versions and accessible text versions of this guide)
• Sign up for and attend an a group advising session.
• Take a placement test if you are not sure what level of a course to place yourself in (not required but encouraged).
• Review the "Exploring and Declaring Majors" page on our website.

• Register for your classes.
