Services
SSSP provides tailored support and resources to students throughout their college journey to graduation. We believe in supporting your college experience at Brandeis personally, academically and socially.
We encourage you to explore and use the following services throughout the academic year.
Professional Advising
We recognize that success looks different to everyone and we help each student navigate Brandeis. Our team of professional advisors offer our scholars individualized support in academic, personal, career, graduate school, and financial literacy. We help students navigate Brandeis with guidance in course selection, major exploration, identifying your interests, skills and more.
Academic Support
We hire more than 20 Peer Tutors and Graduate Assistants to help you in writing, math, science, world languages, study skills and other challenging classes. Students in SSSP request tutors at the beginning of each semester, and they are matched with a peer who tutors them to their individualized needs and learning styles. This is done in a one-on-one, or small group session format.
Graduate Assistants of Writing Skills serve students during weekly office hours and individualized appointments to help them hone their writing skills and assist them throughout their writing process. Our Graduate Assistant of ESOL/ESL assists scholars whose native language is not English by providing specialized support in grammar, punctuation, structure, and everything in between!
This is a free service that can help you reach your fullest potential!
Academic Enrichment and Workshops
Our program offers a variety of academic enrichment opportunities and workshops which help scholars expand their knowledge surrounding campus resources, extracurricular engagement, study skills, understanding personal finances, and opportunities that help you make the most of your undergraduate experience! Through these personalized sessions, we hope to give you the tools and skills to excel both in the classroom and beyond!

We can connect you with Student Financial Services for questions about aapplying for financial aid, understanding your financial aid package and assistance in obtaining textbooks for your courses.
