What advice do you have for new prehealth students?
Brandeis has so much to offer, take your time exploring your interests outside of medicine and academics. College is a time for you to understand yourself and what kind of physician you'd like to be. Connect with your classmates and professors, and get involved with the community! In what ways did Brandeis support your path to medical school?
The biggest support from Brandeis was the community, from Pre-Health Advising, to my professors, and my fellow peers. With their guidance, I was able to connect to opportunities that interested me and develop into the person I am today. I came to Brandeis trying to explore the intersection between medicine and art and with the support I received, I've volunteered at an Art Therapy clinic, explored narrative medicine, and even had an art installment on medicine as art.
