Cybersecurity Awareness Month
October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month!
It is an international initiative that highlights actions everyone can take to stay safe online. The theme for this year is “Secure Our World”, empowering everyone to understand simple ways to protect yourself, your family and your business from online threats. In observance of Cybersecurity Awareness Month, the ITS Security Office will be providing free seminars, information booths and even offering rewards through fun activities. A small amount of knowledge can go a long way in repelling cyber attacks. Join us at one of our events and learn what you can do to protect yourself and how to respond in the event that you are targeted by things like email, scams or malicious software.
