Blogs @ Brandeis, powered by WordPress, has been serving the Brandeis community for many years. After a significant upgrade became required for WordPress, the Office of Communications and ITS took the opportunity to reassess its role at Brandeis.
We examined the usage of blogs, the effort required for an upgrade and ongoing maintenance, and explored alternative cloud-based services. As a result of this evaluation, we have made the decision to discontinue support for blogs, while directing users to alternatives.
What you need to do
Digital Communications will reach out to administrators and/or editors of blogs via email to discuss available options.
Options include migrating your Brandeis blog to Wordpress.com, adding blog content to another website, or deleting your blog that is no longer needed.
