Upcoming Website Font Change

March 7, 2024

Over the next few weeks, we will be replacing one of the current fonts, Whitney, with another similar web font, Hind.

What you need to know

  • Whitney is the sans serif font used for headings (like page titles) as well as some other text styles.
  • Whitney will continue to be utilized for print purposes. If you have the Whitney font installed on your computer, you can still use it for print materials.
  • You may notice the new font in the CMS before the changes go live on published pages in mid-March.
  • There is no action required on your part. We simply wanted to notify you of this change.

We have chosen Hind as it closely resembles Whitney, and we do not anticipate any disruption to the overall website experience for our visitors. We have included a gallery below showing you what Hind will look like on the standard template websites.

If you have any questions, please email us at cmshelp@brandeis.edu

Sincerely,
