SSSP Peer Tutoring

A program specifically designed for SSSP students that is staffed with graduate assistants and peer tutors who have excelled in their disciplines.

We offer tutoring in writing, math, science, languages, or any other class that you might need assistance with. Best of all, we try to meet with you during times that fit your schedule. Scholars in SSSP can request tutoring at the start of each semester.

To make an appointment and meet with a Peer Tutor or Graduate Assistant as soon as possible.

  1. Complete the SSSP Online Tutor Application sent out at the start of each semester.
  2. Participate in SSSP Matching Activities to be matched with your Peer Tutor/Graduate Assistant.
  3. Schedule your personal or group weekly appointments with your Peer Tutor/Graduate Assistant (see below)
  4. Meet with your Peer Tutor or Graduate Assistant.

Scheduling with your SSSP Peer Tutor

When you are assigned a peer tutor to work with throughout the semester, you will also be given the ability to schedule your weekly sessions through our scheduling software. If you experience limitations or trouble using the software, please contact SSSP Associate Director, Kimoi Seale, or your assigned SSSP Advisor who will assist you.
