Application Deadlines

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis for as long as spots remain. 

  • Academic Year 2026-2027 — May 1, 2026
  • Fall 2026 — May 1, 2026
  • Spring 2027 — Oct. 15, 2026

Program Eligibility

  • Only sophomores (2nd semester), juniors, and seniors currently enrolled at a 2- or 4-year undergraduate institution in the United States are eligible to apply.
  • Students are expected to have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale.
  • Students must be U.S. citizens, permanent residents, DACA recipients, or in receipt of another protected status in the United States. Brandeis is not able to host students on an F-1 visa on this program since they have not been admitted to a degree-granting Brandeis program. Other students may be eligible. If you have questions about your eligibility, please contact us.
  • Students must receive the approval of their home institution.

Application Instructions

  1. Create a Brandeis University Study Abroad Account
    1. Click "Apply Now" on your track's application page:
      1. Social Justice & Service Track
      2. Judaic Studies Track
      3. General Studies Track
    2. Fill in the required introductory information.
    3. Upon completion of this information, the system will send an email with login instructions and a temporary password, which you will need to change to a permanent password when you initially log in. (Your full email address serves as your username for this system.)
  2. Submit Online Application
    1. Select the term you wish to apply for (academic year, fall or spring).
    2. Complete the necessary online forms as follows:

      3. SIS: Home Institution Approval Form
      4. SIS: Home Institution Transcript
      5. SIS: Information and Privacy Notice
