Application Deadlines

These are the published deadlines for the Brandeis application to study on our exchange program. Your home institution will likely have an earlier deadline for their internal selection and nomination process, which must be completed prior to applying to Brandeis.

  • Academic Year 2024-25 — April 1, 2024
  • Fall 2024 — April 1, 2024
  • Spring 2025 — Oct. 15, 2024

Application Instructions

Please only begin the application if you have been nominated by your home institution. If you are unsure if you have been nominated, contact the Exchange Coordinator at your home institution.

  1. Create a Brandeis University Account
    1. Click "Apply Now" on your institution's application page.
    2. Select your home institution.
    3. Fill in the required introductory information.
    4. Upon completion of this information, the system will send an email with login instructions and a temporary password, which you will need to change to a permanent password when you initially log in. (Your full email address serves as your username for this system, i.e., student@nus.edu.sg).
  2. Submit Online Application
    1. Select the term you wish to apply for (academic year, fall or spring).
    2. Complete the necessary online forms as follows:
      1. Profile Photo
      2. Personal and Academic Information Form
      3. Emergency Contact Information
      4. Personal Statement
      5. Copy of Passport Photo Page
  3. Submit Paper Forms to Exchange Coordinator at your home institution
    1. The following should be submitting by your Exchange Coordinator directly to Brandeis:
      1. Official home institution transcript
      2. Official English proficiency exam score, if required (an internet-based TOEFL score of at least 100 or higher; or an IELTS score of 6.5–7.0, with no individual band score below 6.5; or a score of C1 or C2 proficiency on the Cambridge Assessment English Qualifications)
